The history

A few ground rules

The history

About 15 years ago, on December 18 (2006 or 2007) I threw myself a birthday party.

We had such a good time that when someone suggested we gather every month, I raised my glass and toasted "to the Ladies Roundtable" and it became a monthly gathering that lasted for years. I quit hosting while rebuilding my life after a divorce.

In the fall of 2020, after the world went into quarantine and isolation from the pandemic, it seemed like a good time to reboot the Ladies Roundtable, so I did it on zoom, but it wasn't the same.

Earlier this year, I called several of the zoom attendees who were at the original Ladies Roundtable gatherings in order to get their feedback about gathering in person again, which we began doing in the Spring of 2021.

Many from the original Ladies Roundtable have moved away from Atlanta or moved on from this life, so I've expanded the invitation list to include more amazing women I've been fortunate to meet over the years.
